Processus de Poisson

Un processus de Poisson est un modèle mathématique modélisant des événements aléatoires qui se reproduisent au cours du temps : naissances, pannes, désintégration radioactive. Formellement, on a la définition suivante : une famille $(N_t)_{t\in\mathbb R_+}$ de variables aléatoires à valeurs entières est appelé processus de Poisson de densité (on dit aussi d'intensité) $\lambda\in\mathbb R_+^*$ si elle vérifie les propriétés suivantes :

  1. $N_0=0.$
  2. Si $0\leq s\leq t,$ alors $N_s\leq N_t.$
  3. Le processus est à accroissements indépendants : pour toute suite croissante $t_0=0<t_1<\dots<t_k,$ les variables aléatoires $N_{t_1}-N_{t_0},\dots,N_{t_k}-N_{t_{k-1}}$ sont indépendantes.
  4. Pour tous $s,t\in\mathbb R_+$ la variable aléatoire $N_{t+s}-N_s$ suit une loi de Poisson de paramètre $\lambda t,$ c'est-à-dire que pour tout $n\in\mathbb N,$ $$P\big((N_{s+t}-N_s)=n\big)=e^{-\lambda t}\frac{(\lambda t)^n}{n!}.$$
