Affinité

Soit $D$ et $D'$ deux droites du plan non parallèles et $k$ un réel non nul. On appelle affinité d'axe $D,$ de directrice $D',$ et de rapport $k$ l'application qui à chaque point $M$ du plan fait correspondre le point $M'$ tel que $\overrightarrow{PM'}=k \overrightarrow{PM}$ où $P$ est le point d'intersection de $D$ avec la parallèle à $D'$ menée par $M.$ Si $D$ et $D'$ sont perpendiculaires, l'affinité est dite orthogonale. C'est par exemple par une affinité orthogonale d'axe $(Ox)$, de directrice $(Oy),$ de rapport $k,$ que l'on passe de la courbe représentative de $f$ à la courbe représentative de $kf.$
